2. Local Storage Only

The app stores the following preferences locally on your device only:

This data never leaves your device and is stored using standard browser localStorage. You can clear this data at any time through your device settings.

3. File Processing

All file operations (image compression, PDF merging, text conversion, etc.) are performed entirely on your device:

Files are processed using client-side JavaScript in your browser
No files are uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers
Files remain private and under your control at all times
Processed files are temporarily stored in your device's memory and are cleared when you close the app

4. Third-Party Services

UtiBox uses the following external service:

QR Code Generation: The QR code generator uses the public API at https://api.qrserver.com to create QR code images. Only the text/URL you enter is sent to this service to generate the QR code image. No personal information is transmitted. Please refer to QR Server's documentation for their data handling practices.

The website version may display ads through Google AdSense, which has its own privacy policy. The mobile app does not contain ads.

5. Internet Permission (Mobile App)

The Android app requests internet permission solely for:

Loading Google Fonts for typography
QR code generation API calls
Loading the PDF processing library (pdf-lib) from a CDN

No user data or analytics are transmitted over this connection.

6. Children's Privacy

UtiBox does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is designed to be safe for all ages as it processes data entirely locally.

7. Data Security

Since we don't collect or transmit your data (except for QR code generation), your information remains secure on your device. We recommend:

Keeping your device's operating system updated
Using device security features (passcode, biometric lock)
Being cautious when generating QR codes containing sensitive information

8. Your Rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is no data to access, modify, or delete from our end. You have full control over:

Clearing app preferences through your device settings
Uninstalling the app at any time
Clearing browser data if using the web version
